The east valley is not growing too much. It hasn’t really been in the real estate spot light for decades. However, there is some good activity going on Around Downtown Glendale.
Drivers:
It appears that much of this activity is coming from aging boomers. Much of the very east side of Phoenix is usually older, so this makes sense. It also makes sense of the fact that this Downtown looks and yes, even sounds, like 1950’s America. This is likely becoming especially popular because, there’s really nothing else like it in Phoenix.
What will Likely Happen Next:
A good amount of home flipping will occur here. Expect an Historic 1950’s look. For multifamily, expect smaller apartment complexes and condos.
